Farah Dini Zaini graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) in 2017. She thereafter completed her pupillage at one of the largest legal firms in Malaysia and commenced practice in its employment practice group under the guidance of Dato’ Thavalingam C. Thavarajah.
Dini regularly assists Dato’ Thavalingam in litigation matters concerning issues on employment and industrial relations and has extensive experience appearing at the Industrial Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal with Dato’ Thavalingam acting for private and government-linked entities as well as statutory bodies.
She has provided legal advice on employment and industrial relations matters involving employees of all levels and seniorities, including discipline and performance management, mutual separation schemes, trade disputes, retrenchment exercises and issues pertaining to fixed term contracts.
Dini also has wide-ranging experience involving forensic audits leading to disciplinary action instituted against senior ranking officials, from suspension to dismissal.
